Hello all of you gardeners and book lovers out there! I hope you’re enjoying this transition into fall, my favorite season! Did you know Amazon is a wonderful resource for books, especially free Kindle books? (No Kindle? No problem. See the bottom of the post for how to read Kindle books for free!) You can go from nothing to read to well… lots of somethings to read, in a matter of minutes. And Amazon just happens to have some free gardening books for all of you looking to expand your garden knowledge! Here’s what they’re offering: (Prices are subject to change, but at the time of posting, these books all listed for $0.00.)
Green Thumb Gardening by Charlie Tucker
Heirloom Seeds by Karen Elliot
I’m super excited to read Karen’s thoughts on heirloom seeds since I’ve been trying to grow more heirloom varieties in recent years. No matter how long you’ve been gardening, there’s always new info and advice out there, so stay educated if you can. Your local library is also a great source of info, and if there’s a particular gardening book that you want and your library doesn’t carry it, you can usually just ask. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how my local library orders what I ask for.
And the best news…even if you don’t have a Kindle, you can still download the free Kindle App on many smartphones, tablets, and computers. So don’t let not owning an actual Kindle device hold you back. There are tons of free Kindle books out there (some better than others), so check those reviews before you invest too much time in downloading “stacks” of e-books. I hope these books encourage you in your gardening ventures. I’d also love to know what gardening books you’ve enjoyed and how they’ve helped you. Happy Gardening!
